Minnesota Public Radio Legal Affairs Reporter

In five years with MPR, I covered the Minnesota courts and legislature. Among
more than 800 reports on legal issues, I covered such national stories as the
child sexual abuse allegations in Scott County and federal district court
appeals for Leonard Peltier.
Other responsibilities included filling in as News Director, covering breaking
events out in the field, anchoring MPR talk shows, and regularly contributing
stories to the national wire services. At conferences and seminars I frequently
served as a panelist on legal and reporting issues and as a regular contributor
to MPR's Minnesota Monthly magazine.
